Our Journey

Naveed Khawaja is a British businessman, entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in corporate finance, strategic investment, business acquisitions and organisational leadership. A Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), he brings over 16 years of post qualification experience, including senior executive and Chief Financial Officer roles across healthcare, social care, education and retail.

Combining entrepreneurial experience with a lifelong passion for cricket, Naveed founded Castle Cricket to establish a respected British cricket brand known for quality, craftsmanship, innovation and accessibility. The business focuses on English willow cricket bats, bespoke bat making, specialist bat preparation and refurbishment, and cricket equipment for players at different levels of the game.
